“Skip-lagging” question

Is there any negative to skipping the last leg of a return flight? I would schedule another flight, different airline, to get me to my preferred airport. TIA

You won't get banned doing it once but yeah I wouldn't make it a regualr occurance

You also need to make sure you aren’t one of the last to board to avoid having to check your carry on

Yeah. When they call your group be the first in line, so when the carry on space starts filling up they won't ask you to leave your carry on luggage at the gate to be put with the checked in luggage. Also, if they ever ask you to do this then just say that all your medication is in your carry on bag and then pretend like you're looking for it and eventually they will just let you board the plane with your carry on luggage.

Be sure to check to see if the flight you’re scheduled to be on is overbooked. You don’t want to leave free money at the airport
