I'm working in SE Idaho for the summer, family is coming up to stay for a month. We are going to Jackson for a long weekend. Any other ideas or things to do while they are here.

Dunes at St. Anthony’s, side by side riding anywhere offered, plenty of lakes to rent boats. Idaho is the sports machine capital of the west. Plenty to do.

have not been but have a vacation planned to Stanley and it looks incredible. do some research on Ketchum and Stanley for summer activities. if your family likes the outdoors, it could be a great summer. appears to be great rafting, fishing, hiking, ATV riding, horseback riding, etc. The Sawtooth Mountain national forest and Salmon River are the two big attractions in that area.

after you've been there awhile, post some recommendations please!

do not miss Stanley.
if you can swing it they have a great 4th of July parade/block party. One of the best vacation days we’ve ever spent

Stanley, ID

stanley is worth visiting, but it isn't SE idaho. pocatello would be more SE idaho.

tetons, yellowstone, caribou targhee national forest, snake river, pallisades reservoir, henry's fork, and island park are all within a day trip. dress warm! it has been a cold, wet "spring". cold and rainy today and snow in the mountains.

Yeah, i am in that area so it would be a pretty long drive to Stanley. I did ride through Logan UT and saw Bear Lake which was cool.
