We will be attending a wedding on Tybee Island Georgia in late March 2026. Flying in and out of Jacksonville FL.
I've never been in this part of the US.
We will have about one week give or take a couple of days and am looking for suggestions on things to do. We are wide open on plans.
We like the beach but it may be too cold then to swim.
We like arboretums, museums, historical stuff, hiking, exploring..anything outdoors...
Is it worth a trip to St. Augustine for a day?
I appreciate the feedback..

St Augustin definitely worth a visit. Up in Georgia, a quick trip to jekyll Island might be fun. This is where the federal reserve bank was created. Interesting island.

St Augustine is good for a day. I would also suggest Amelia Island for another day.

Cumberland Island National Seashore.
Wild horses, I think you need reservations as island is remote and undeveloped.

Yes, I would go to St. Aug for a day. Lots to do for a day trip if you have a car.

if you do go to st Aug, fair warning that you aren’t going to want to leave
