Has anyone ever been to this resort? Looks to be close to the marina which is where we have been told is a good area to be for food / drinks outside the resort? Any recommendations for Cabo? TIA

ETA, If you are by the pool, be prepared for "Sandos, Sandos" on repeat...

Just a general review of the resort. Food, drinks, activities etc. Would you go back? How is the location?

Food,

We only ate out at the beach restaurant for one lunch(overpriced and wouldnt do it a second time), The main restaurant upstairs has a great brunch, but I think its $40 per person. We got it for free for as part of being pitched a timeshare(If you havent been to cabo, be prepared) The dinner was was good, but over priced. I would not get the all inclusive there.

activities
As you stated you are right by town. We walked everywhere, food, fishing trip, arches you can walk from the beach side, you just have to climb a little rock section. etc... great spot close to town and on the water(Although you dont go to the beach there because of the riptides)

There are two parts to the resort, the older side which is closest to the water and the remodeled side on the cliffs. The remodeled side is nice, but is a bit unique/modern European vibe. The older sides units remind me of a typical gulf coast older condo.

Awesome. The way I understood the website is that this was an All-Inclusive resort which would include all drinks and food at all restaurants. Is that not a true statement?

Ive been there twice. both times were from a friends timeshare. We did not have all inclusive, but were offered to purchase it.

If I were staying anywhere near downtown in Cabo, like Finisterra, I would not pay for all inclusive

I went about 3 or 4 years ago. We had the all inclusive package. The restaurant on the beach was the best of the ones at the resort. Overall, it was a dated resort and the food at the other restaurants were just okay.

There are a bunch of restaurants in and around the marina that were much better. We booked a trip with Fish On to go fishing and took some of our catch to one of them and they cooked it for us. We also went with Cabo Sail for a sailing trip one day. Also, check out Taco Gus for some really good tacos.

Here are some great places to check out too.
