Sandals Honeymoon Advice

I’m looking for some recommendations for a honeymoon destination thru sandals.
Budget is $4,500-$5,500.
Length of stay 4 nights 5 days
We would be leaving Easter Sunday.
I have looked on sandals website and it all looks good but it looks the same. We are wondering what would be the best place to go to getaway and relax.

Why have you narrowed your choice to sandals?

We did Sandals Bahamas for our honeymoon. It worked out well. Short flight so no long travel days, food was decent, everything was already paid for so onyl focus was relaxing, quiet property, etc. Doubt I'd go back to one, but for honeymoon it worked fine.
Mine was almost 20 years ago, so can't really speak to price. Think we paid around $2500 for a whole week, flights included.

I guess we haven’t. We were just looking at their website because we’ve had friends use them. We are open to different places.

Are you dead-set on a beach all inclusive? You can get lots more bang for your buck elsewhere. Where would you really like to go? (destination, I mean) You're not obligated to have a cliche honeymoon at the beach....

We both really like the beach so we are pretty dead set on the beach.

Lots of smaller island have limited flights in and out. For example my buddy had a destination wedding at the Sandals in Antigua. They missed the fight out of Nola and had to wait 24 hours to catch flights the next day. Keep this in mind.
Decide what is important, nice room, food, alcohol, etc. Some all inclusive put out much better food than others. Trip advisor has a list of all inclusives ranked might want to take a look there. Another thing to remember is the restaurants book up and if they are full you have to eat buffet. Normally the first day or two they will be booked already

Sandals Grande St. Lucia was great. The beach there is picture perfect with crystal blue water.

This is the one we stayed at on our honeymoon. It's in Ocho Rios. I highly recommend it.

Yep. When we went, you could only book dinner reservations the morning of and they were all booked by 10 or so every morning.

Yeah each of their resorts are fairly similar, so if been before its not going to be new.
Dont be fooled by their claims on food. Its not really that great

I just got back from my honeymoon last week. I originally started off with around a 4k budget and looking for sandals resorts. After much research and asking around for advice I went a totally different route. I did an adults only all inclusive resort in negril Jamaica called Sunset at The Palms. 8 nights. All airfare I came out for $2950 thru expedia (bundled the airfare and resort) I also earned around 11,000 expedia points which will equate to around 120 bucks toward a hotel or flight in the future . .. the place was absolutely amazing and me n my wife couldn't have asked for a more special and relaxing honeymoon.
Also the place I stayed had wayyyyyyy better reviews than any of the sandals resorts. I rarely write reviews for places but after this trip I was so blown away that I wrote them a stellar review.

We stayed at Sandal's Regency La Toc in St. Lucia back in March for our honeymoon, 7 nights total I want to say was around $5500 not including flights. We put the trip on a credit card with flyer miles, paid off the trip and were able to get both of our tickets for I believe $450 total using the miles we accrued from the trip payment.
Here's a copy/paste of a short review I posted last month.
There are probably other cheaper options out there but we enjoyed our time and had no complaints.

We just got back from Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia in March for our honeymoon, and enjoyed it. We flew from New Orleans to Miami, then Miami to St Lucia(less than a 4 hour flight), from there it was a 1 hour bus ride to the resort. I wasn't sure what to expect at first but thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the food was great at a couple places and decent at others, the staff was almost too friendly. We did the deep sea fishing excursion and that was a good time, had read great things about the Joes Knows tour but decided against them when we watched them pull up to the beach and unload 27 people off of what is basically a 30ft center console boat, frick that. We pretty much hung out at the beach and swim up bar the whole week.
Our room was I suppose around the middle for their price range, we didn't do butler service or a room with a private pool or anything special, it was the "Pitons Oceanview with Private Sundeck". The room was nice and overlooked the bay/beach and we'd hang out and watch the cruise ships come in every morning, and was constantly stocked with drinks, beer, wine, etc. Overall we had a great experience and would do it again.
