Rental homes (or hotels) in the Caribbean recommendations

Hi folks,
We got to the Caribbean a lot on cruises, and I'm thinking about just flying somewhere for 4-5 days and staying. Would probably prefer to rent a place such as an Airbnb, but open to options.
Interests would be a place with a pool, close to beaches, and a few restaurant options. Basically looking for nice beach weather locations, but very happy to just hang by the pool all day and then go out to dinner.

I dont have a specific airbnb but check out curacao. Great place to visit for 4-5 days with awesome beaches and a great food scene. Island is safe so just rent a car and explore every day. If you dont want to move much find something that fits your taste in the jan thiel area if the island.

St. Barths.
Or if you are a mariner, go to the BVIs and rent a boat.

I should have added, does time of year matter when staying somewhere in the Caribbean, other than hurricane season?

We were there this week one day. Love that island.

Season is late fall into early spring. So prices tend to go up then. But I’ve had good luck going over summer and just hoping for no weather system. Can get some great deals.

It’s the exact description our 14 yr olds used when we asked what they wanted to do on vacation. We’ll be back in July.
