The Askershus is our one character meal. I thought it best not to waste park time.
I am good at the old way of doing Disney. fast Pass + was brand new when I last went, and I liked the older fast past where you had to go to the ride to get fast passes much better.
Anyway, yeah the plan is to burn all three fast passes fast and pick the rides we didn't do at Epcot the day before.
Dinosaur had a wait the last two times I went, but I guess that was longer ago.
Anumal Kingdom is a quick park if you skip the shows and Rafiki. They liked Rafiki last time, but if you factor in the park cost, it's a lot of money to spend time at a Zoo. It's cool, though they loved it last time.
I know the layout of the parks well and we can get around fast.
I think this is the first and last time I do the dining plan. The ten year old is a picky eater so her meals will go to the eight year old, who will older the kids meals for the ten year old. Or however the credits work.
Don't think it's right a 10 year old pays adult prices.
A lot of money upfront. I never totaled our total dining expense on the first trip but we did Victoria and Albert's (no kids), Cinderella's Castle and 50's Prime Time, T-Rex and a lot of QS and it seemed like less than the meal plan.
I plan on bringing both a mobile charger and a back-up battery. That app was hell on the phones.

Got this planned out or just winging it? The two Harry Potter parks are about the only ones usually crowded. King Kong is new so it can get long too.
First morning run to a Harry Potter park, then wing the rest of the day.
Second morning run to the biggest ride we didn't do.
I was hoping to get the girl's into Potter before the trip. They are excited about it, but they couldn't tell Quidditch from a Tri-Wizard tournament. That part (and really Universal period) is more for us.
Oh, moved the 8pm Chef's de France to the Coral Reef.
Food not rated highly, but kids will like the aquariums and they have steak for the Mrs and the youngest and fish for me.

Mobile charger is definitely a must have. I found one on Amazon that was rated well, could charge multiple devices at a time and had enough capacity for over 3 full charges.
Coral Reef is definitely a place to go for the experience, not the food. As long as you go in with that mindset, you'll be fine.

Both the big Potter rides have single rider lines, but you do miss out on some of the cool stuff in the lines if you take them. So do the lines at least once.
Besides Harry Potter; Hulk, Spider-Man, Jurassic park, dueling dragons, King Kong are must dos in IoA. Poseidons Fury is a cheesy favorite. The mystic fountain in the lost continent is worth a watch. MiB, Simpsons, Mummy, rip ride rockit, transformers, ET, Shrek, Minions, and T2 are good in Universal. Both parks of Universal is a lot more manageable to do in two days as long as Potter doesn't suck you in shopping. The hogwarts express between the parks is great. Frozen butterbeer is my favorite version of it.
Anker backup battery packs are the best way to go, I play ingress (Pokémon GO before Pokémon GO existed) all day and don't run mine out. I got a massive one though.

Look up the FuelRod stations. You buy the first charger then have unlimited swaps for a new fully chagred one. Kiosks are popping up all over the place for them. We bought one at IAH before our trip to Germany and I find myself using it all the time. There are exchange spots all over Disney. Get it before you go though because I believe Disney charges a little more than like the airport or ordering one. I never thought I would need one until we forgot to plug in the extra charger and wound up needing power.
