How long does it take to get your passport renewed (non-expedited)?

How does the shutdown effect Passport processing?
I got my renewal in 2 or 3 weeks a couple years ago.

Just did mine last month and got it in 3 weeks non-expedited.

Mailed mine in last wednesday, will let you know when I get it back

As of today, it will take less than 5 weeks. The only difference between now and pre-shutdown is that the Feds are not allowed to work OT. So, adjudications are taking longer, but still not in the busy season.

Update: Got mine back after about two weeks and this was non-expedited. Got the old one mailed back about a week later so overall 3 weeks for the process, pretty good during the shutdown IMO
