Do you guys recommend, and if so, which provider?
I've never bothered with it, but this summer may be "interesting" considering world politics, war and gas/fuel issues over there.
TIA

Where are you driving? I know at least Avis has restrictions in some countries you're not allowed to bring their vehicle to in the EU, I would presume insurance companies would have a similar level of reticence.

Are you asking about travel insurance like if you miss a flight, or have to cancel the trip?
Personally have never found that worth it. Most hotels and airfare let you cancel within a 1-2 notice and or cancel and receive a credit. For experiences like guides, those also can be canceled/changed with minimal stress or $.
Also those insurance “policies” basically don’t let you cancel and get a payout outside of very extreme conditions. In short it’s a scam.
If talking about insurance to drive a rented car, that’s a different question but also one not worth worrying about in general.
