Going to NYC for 5 days looking for some good restaurant recommendations.

Gramercy Tavern is fantastic.
Le Coucou is one of the best meals I’ve had in my life.

Rubirosa for sit down Italian.
Bleecker st pizza is my personal favorite for a quick slice.
Plenty of great steakhouses in Manhattan, I’d recommend against going to Brooklyn for peter lugers unless you’ll be in Brooklyn anyway.

If not PL then where? Keen's?
Prefer only classic prime steakhouses. Assume there are still plenty of options in that category, yeah?

Off the top of my head- keens, sparks and old homestead.
My favorite steakhouse in NYC is Del friscos double eagle, but that’s a chain; skip it if you’re looking for a steakhouse unique to NYC.

I think Roberta's is worth the trek to Bushwick especially if you are younger than 35, they basically started the hipster/pizza movement. Lilia is another place in Brooklyn that is just ridiculously good. Love all of the Emily restaurants too, incredible burger/pizzas.
Carbone is prob my fav restaurant in the city but a reservation will be next to impossible.
Keen's is where I take people if they want steak.
If there is a specific style of food/area you want more info on I will give a little more info.
Infatuation in general is the best review/guide app you should be using.

I forgot to mention Blue Hill New York. If you can get a reservation, definitely go.
I've never been, but hoping to go to their Farm restaurant in the spring.

Frankie and Johnnies is the best steak house I've ever been to. Expensive as hell though. It's right by the Phantom of the Opera theater.
