I know we have Tuscany experts on here.
When people have asked for recommendations for places to stay in Tuscany, I have always recommended La Canonica di Cortine which s a complex of villas about mid-way between Florence and Siena. That is a wonderful place that I have been to twice, most recently in 2018.

We tried to book it again for next April, but were informed that it was sold to someone who is using it for a private residence.

I am asking our Tuscan experts to recommend a good alternative.

Thanks.

We stay at an agriturismo owned by our favorite vineyard in Gaiole in Chianti. It's not a five start resport but it's as authentic as can be, the owners are wonderful people and it's right in the middle of a vineyard.

We really enjoyed this place when we went a few years ago. My wife has the wine, olive oil, and the neighbor’s Prosecco shipped over twice a year. Food was great and it was a great home base to visit Florence, Sienna, etc.

Both of these look like great suggestions. Thanks.
