Sorry, when I replied up above, I didn't see the food posts and pictures for some reason. I just saw them now. Looks like a great trip. Glad you had a memorable trip. TFL is an experience of a lifetime. You ate and drank well. Well done!

've spent $10k on a 5 day trip and bought $14k for wine that was shipped home.

Added up my wine shipping receipts last night, and keeping in mind Palmaz hasn't even sent a receipt/email since we visited so I don't know that total yet... we are at $11,125 in wine sent home.

The one dumb thing we did as newbies was let them auto-enroll us in clubs when we hit certain spending amounts. Some places the club isn't a big deal because you can cancel from the portal or skip whenever you need, but some have minimum orders per year or only 1 skip per year.

Thankfully, looks like most places are only like $400 per shipment and not the insane spends we did in person. But yeah. Don't join clubs unless the perks are REALLY worth it for you. Just order wine.

For anyone that wants tasting fees refunded if you buy wine, I would recommend asking. We forgot that was even an option to ask about, so unless my husband has a refund pending we weren't told about directly, the only place that refunded our tastings automatically was Far Niente.

That Burgers and Half Bottles place looks to be a good little hang out spot to sit and chill, just not sure if they have a bar.

This is short order. I didn't notice a bar for sitting, but the weather was perfect so we were fine at a table with an umbrella.

The beer is ordered at the counter with your food, and they give you a glass to get it filled by the dude standing at the patio beer tap truck. Looked like you could get additional rounds from him directly as well.
