Never been. Any suggestions for places to stay? Preferably a nice Bed & Breakfast.

We stayed at 1801 First in the town of Napa. Loved it. We could walk to everything in town.

Stay in Yountville. Walk to get breakfast at bouchon bakery.

My husband attended a conference at the Silverado but we stayed at 1801. Loved it. The breakfasts were delicious.

Recommend 1801 First. We spent our 30th anniversary there and loved it. Great location, great breakfast and great people.

When are you going? We're probably going for Mardis Gras ( late Feb) and wonder if that 's a good time of year to go.

Great time to go. Winter is pretty dead in wine country which means fewer people to deal with, more liberal pours and a greater chance of interaction with the winemakers themselves, particularly at smaller wineries.

Not sure when you’re going, but the French Laundry is taking reservations now for March and April. If you’re in to that sort of thing

My wife and I have been going to Napa every year for about 6 years. That number is going to increase for the next 2 years because my son has been accepted to The Culinary Institute of America in Napa!!

We have only stayed in Calistoga, which is the most northern town in the valley. We have also only stayed at one place in Calistoga. It’s a B&B called Embrace Calistoga. This place is phenomenal. Five rooms total, an incredible 4 course breakfast, and wine and cheese on the porch from 5-7. Then we just walk to dinner, which is just a couple of blocks. The hospitality of the the 2 owners is out of this world. Read the reviews and you will see what I mean. All 5 stars! PM me if you have any other questions!!

Embrace Calistoga
