Anything else like the myrtles around the state? My daughter is into ghost stuff right now and looking for something simiilar to myrtles where they really push being “haunted” as opposed to just a plantation home tour. Thanks in advance.

Any plantation that hasn't invented some ghosts for their property is throwing money away.

Ghost of the Old State Capitol Show
The Old State Capitol supposedly has a ghost. The link is for a "4D immersive theatrical presentation" (whatever that means). I don't know if it's any good, but just sharing what little info. I have.

The French Quarter is lousy with ghosts. If you come during December, it is more family friendly, with lots of activities designed to evoke a Dickens ambiance. The Andrew Jackson Hotel and Place d’Armes Hotel are both reputed to be haunted. (I can vouch that the AJ has them.) Enjoy the réveillon meals that are a feature of the restaurant festivities that month, and ask your waiter to tell you about any hauntings that were experienced there. We got quite a story from our server at Muriel’s, and a staff member at the now closed Alpine actually took us upstairs to show us where an especially terrifying ghost had materialized.

I found the gothic jail in deridder. Looks pretty cool and they have some of those weirdo ghost hunters going in september so I think we might go to that.

Good luck! Mysteries and ghosts cast a spell on me as a child that has never waned. I hope that your daughter enjoys a safely spooky experience.
