Anyone done one? Wife is wanting to go end of May or early June and take our 10yr old. Any recommendations on routes etc? I’ve never been to that area.

I have a group of friends who went on a Croatian cruise this past summer and they came back raving about it.
I have never been to Croatia but I have been to Europe a bunch of times and have been on one Mediterranean cruise. I had a wonderful time on the cruise but a cruise is not my favorite way to experience Europe. They do not spend enough time in port, especially at night when I want to sample the cuisine of the region. Plus, some of the destination cities are a long way from the port. Rome and Florence are two examples.
One point in favor of Croatia is that, like Greece, some of the attractions are more assessable by sea rather than land.

I agree with the above. But I've been looking into some of these myself, and many of them have more irregular port times like Noon to noon the next day. To do as the above and allow people an evening and morning in the city.
I'm strongly considering something that does Greece, Turkey, and Israel as well as maybe Africa. I would never have the chance to go with my kids to all of those places while they are kids if I didn't do a trip like this.

I will say this about Croatia, went there this summer but not on a cruise. I loved Croatia, i was really surprised how affordable and beautiful it was. One of our favorite vacations of all time.
Itinerary
Split - 3 days 2 night
HVAR - 4 days 3 nights
Korcula - 1 day 1 night
Dubrovnik - 3 Days 3 nights
Also did a day trip from Dubrovnik to Kotor
Saw large cruise ships in most places...

I've never been on a cruise I just saw a couple of them online. Holland America had some options and a couple other companies. Obviously the itineraries are all different but there's quite a few options out there.

The Mediterranean cruise I went on was with Holland America and I liked it.
