I only fly a handful of times a year, but I've never understood why someone that flies all the time wants to be first to get on the plane.

What was the impact to this on your travel? Let’s say you didn’t check a bag, it took you what maybe 90 more seconds to get off the plane?

Obviously, it’s because the further up you are on the plane the more people can see you stand and unbuckle your seatbelt before the ding is even finished once the plane reaches the gate.

The general admission seating was one of they ways they traditionally reduced costs. They reused plastic boarding passes. The cost of printed passes adds up over time.

Yep, and while we are bitching... I have never seen so many 6 year olds look like they are 11 or 12 years old.
