My wife and I had lunch at Vic’s on the River. It was great.

I agree with Vic's on the River. You can make a reservation online HERE. I like their crawfish beignets with Tabasco syrup.

Vic's on the River is a great suggestion. I would throw in The Olde Pink House. Much easier to get lunch reservations there than dinner. Wife and I had a delightful lunch there last time I was in Savannah.
