Long Weekend Getaway - What ya got?

The wife and I have been hustling this year with not many breaks. Looking to get a long weekend away to relax and unwind a bit.
I'm thinking a cozy cabin somewhere with the possibility of a spa nearby. Thinking about flying out on a Wednesday evening and returning on a Sunday afternoon sometime late November to early December.

Fly into Denver and stay in Manitou, Breckenridge, Vail depending on taste and budget.

If you don’t want to fly, consider the Marriott’s Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama.
It has a great spa, beautiful building and grounds, nice (expensive) restaurant/bar onsite, etc.
Fairhope is a neat little town 10 minutes away.

Ironically we live in Fairhope and enjoy the Grand often.
It'd be nice to find something within driving distance 6-8 hours, or a quick flight that does eat up an entire day of travel.

We have family in Denver and did that trip two years ago. Would love to go back but looking to do something different.

Flight wise, the direct flight options from Mobile are Dallas, Atlanta, Washington Dulles, Charlotte, and Houston. So if you're not trying to kill a full day traveling, then areas outside those cities would be your weekend spots. Maybe Virginia would be a good getaway flying to Dulles and then driving west into the mountains?

If you're in Fairhope check out the flight destinations from Gulf Shores on Alligent Airlines.
Ther have direct flights to 10-12 smaller cities,like Appleton Wisconsin, Nashville, all i can remember now. Lol

I think Allegiant flies to NWA if Eureka Springs would be a type of trip you would like.
