Check out Absinthye for sure. That show was awesome and we'll worth the money

Absinthe is best entertainment value in LV, and you're so close to the action.

Is The Bellagio still an upper end hotel? I don’t
Know what Mandalay Bay considers itself, but they’ll break you of drinking with their bar prices lol.

Yes, the Bellagio is still upper tier. Prime Steakhouse is one of the best in Vegas, O is still one of the best shows

Paris is perfect location and not expensive. Nice casino, kinda poo pool. The rooms are fine, nothing to write home about but clean

It's near the bottom of hotels on the strip, but it's much better than a Motel 6.

People that stay at shitty hotels would think the Luxor is luxury though.

I stayed at the Excalibur the last two times recently. Is it a different crowd? Yes. But for the most part they are tatted up family people. I've got zero problem with the place. I like walking to the Luxor. I like the feel of the place, but no fan of the casino. I also walk to New York New York. I like the city street area where they have pizza, hotdogs, deli and other food joints. I like to eat near the dueling piano bar place.

The thing is you're almost never in your room except to sleep. Why pay $400 a night at an expense hotel when you can simply walk in and enjoy?

Going in a few weeks and staying at the Flamingo for the pool, the renovated rooms there are decent though.

Look into Vdara - upscale but often better price point than the more well known places. Sorta tucked out of the way behind Aria but still accessible. No casino but to me that was a plus, and Aria and Belaggio’s are right there. See if you can get a room overlooking the fountains; great views down the strip.

Because people like nice things and don’t want to slum in the worst hotels on the strip. Jesus the trash on this board
