Jet Blue to Heathrow?

Has anyone taken JetBlue across the pond? They have recently acquired a gate at LHR and service from BOS and NYC has started. Looking at taking this flight over Christmas, it’s cheaper than the direct BA flight out of MSY

How much cheaper ? I would much rather a direct than connecting. The more flights, the more chances of a delay.

I’d pay a little more to fly nonstop on a 787 widebody than connect on an A320 narrow body on that long a flight

I flew it in June in their "Mint" business class from JFK. It's nice, and I enjoyed the flight. But I booked that with Emirates miles back when they were still partners -- can't do that now.
Overall, though, the flight from JFK is so short that you aren't going to get enough sleep. A nonstop from MSY really gives you the time to get a decent amount of sleep and not be totally jetlagged when you arrive in London.
