Hotels in Berlin and Munich

We'll be staying three days at each location in mid July. Will want to stay in the center of each city. Recommendations please.

Staying at Platzl Hotel in Munich in February. I’ll try and right a review when I get back. If you haven’t booked by then.

There is a Holiday Inn across the river from the Marienplatz. It's above a big U-Bahn, S-Bhan station that can take you anywhere. I have stayed there a handful of times and it has always been great.

I like the Roomers brand. The one in Munich is pretty close to the Bahnhof.

Yeah, I have stayed there before and liked it. I hate to rave about a Holiday Inn in Europe but this one was fine. It is near the city center and the thing that makes it so convenient is that there is a subway station in the basement of the building.
