Hot Springs suggestions?

Heading up to Lake Ouachita this weekend and looking for any interesting recommendations. We will be renting a boat for one day, and will do a day hike, but otherwise we are chilling out in a cabin on 30 acres and have no agenda. We have twin 8 year old boys too. The actual hot springs don't seem worth a day to me but open to any suggestions.

If you have 8 year olds, the water park would be fun for them if you want to drive into Hot Springs - I think it's called Magic Springs.

Climb the trail behind the bathhouses to the observation tower
After you're done grab out for a few beers at superior bathhouse when you come back down the mountain
Pizza at delucas

This.
Call ahead for a reservation...for your dough. They make it fresh every day, so once they're out, that's it.
Also recommend the patio at Rolando's.
The boys might enjoy The Mid-America Museum of Science

For food:
McClard's BBQ - self-said to be stupendous, but I found it meh. If you go, get the chicken.
Breakfast: Phils Restaurant. Breakfast and lunch. Likely the world's largest hotcakes.
Jahna's: Italian. Wife love it.
