Higgins Hotel

Anyone stay there ? Have some friends coming in from Lafayette to go to WW2 museum and a night at casino in the next few weeks looking for a hotel .

Its OK. There are better hotels like windsor, four seasons, Roosevelt, and monteleone. Higgins is in a safe area with good restaurants though.

It’s nice, but nothing special. I find it a bit pricy for what it is.

We had a conference there last fall, and everyone really enjoyed it. The art deco decor is nice.

I stayed there when it was new. It's not bad. There are better hotels but it's convenient to the ww2 museum and warehouse district.

What everyone else says. It's clean. Interesting WW2 decor. Bar is decent.

Four Seasons or the Windsor Court are adjacent to the Harrah's casino. I wouldn't walk from the Higgins.
