Plan on heading there after graduation in May. We're going to make the drive, stopping in Northern Kentucky to visit a friend on the way up, then stopping in Nashville for a night on the way back. As of now, we're going to stay at an AirBnb, spend a couple days exploring around Niagara Falls and spend a day in Toronto.

Are there any MUST-DO things or really good eats to know about?

Anchor Bar or Duffs for wings, Pearl Street Brewery in downtown B'lo is pretty good plus there's a few other breweries in the area. There's also a minor league baseball team (the Bisons) that may have a home game, tix are cheap

just went to all of these places a few weeks ago. agree with all of these choices. the locals didnt think too highly of anchor bar, but i thought it was good. fun dive for an afternoon lunch/beer.

sabres hockey tickets can be had for less than $40.

allentown in buffalo was cool. older houses converted in to bars/restaurants all on one strip.

stay away from the seneca indian casino.

chippewa st had a lot of stuff for the younger crowd. badda bing was fun for football games/ good pizza and wings.

pharoahs gentlemans club was a lot nicer than expected. had a decent burger.

Any reason for staying in NY instead of staying in Canada?

This. The Canadian side is soooo much better. The Marriot that all rooms overlook the falls is an incredible deal. Buy the boat, journey, rapids tickets from the Canadian Gov. one of the best trips I have ever taken.

without a doubt stay on the canada side. can't see shite on the NY side.
We stayed at the Embassy suites. Had a great view of the falls.
There isn't that much to do in Niagara other than look at the Falls and do the tour. a day there is more than enough. Toronto is a pretty awesome city. IF you have time, id' spend more of it there.

There's some rafting and what not you can do around Niagara, but if you want some nightlife, then go to Toronto.

Canadian views are much better than on the U.S. side. But the boat tours are better on U.S.

We did it on the way driving down from Toronto to Virginia Beach.

Only spent a day in Toronto, so didn't do much other than a Blue Jays game.

The overlooking views from some of the rest areas in western NY & northern Pennsylvania were awesome on the Buffalo to Hershey route.

This is a must. It was fun AF and hope to do it again one day somewhere.

Jet Boating

We did it out of the Niagara on the Lake location.

As has been said, Canadian side has better views, but it's a tacky tourist trap of shops and stores.

There is Seneca Casino on the US side if you want to gamble.
