Heading to Tijuana Mexico for spring break. Any suggestions to where to eat or what to do? Thanks.

One of my coworkers has gone there several times. He says it's a really cool place and he's never felt unsafe or anything, and would walk around the city at night even, with his wife. However, he doesn't drink, so you may want to be more careful when it comes to drinking. I've been wanting to go check it out some time.
As far as what to eat, he was telling me that apparently the Caesar Salad was invented there, strangely enough. The original restaurant is still there and they'll make Caesar dressing and salad right in front of you at the table. It sounds really cool and you should check that out.
Another note, I've heard it will take several hours to cross the border back to the US, if you're driving in.

I don't think you can walk into a pharmacy and buy hydrocodone anymore

I have been there years ago with some Spanish speaking friends who navigated me around. It was fun but I have no desire to go back right now.
