LA Jackson is a good rooftop bar with quality women.
The Gulch is a good neighborhood to check out for drinks and food with quality women walking around.
Pinewood Social is a good brunch spot with a pool and bowling alley, not really sure what you would call it but again, quality women.
Santas pub is a pretty cool cash only bar to check out at night

Then give good recs instead of only shitting on the others.

I'll be there next weekend so I'm following this thread.

All my recs were good ones, Nashville itself is a tourist trap.

Doing the bar crawl thing in the district tomorrow

Where is the District? Been here 30+ years and never heard of it. Although they have been renaming shite holes all around town to make them more appealing, the District is not one of the.

Fyi, beware of 'Trinity Hills' better known as Trinity Lane... it's North Nashville and crime ridden. Then there's the 'Napier Area' aka JC Napier Projects!!!! These libtards are renaming shite holes to sell condos across the street from ghettos.

C'mon, man!

And for those saying they want to move to Nashville... no you don't! The city is broke and the state is threatening to take over their budget come Feb. 2020. Crime, especially juvenile crime, is out of control! My LE friends say half the crimes arent investigated. And the school system is as bad as it gets. Check out greatschools.org. Less than 10% of Nashville schools get a passing grade and most are failing really bad.

On a positive note, if you're single Lower Broad has plenty alcohol and fine women to go around.

EL

OH

EL

Just ignore those 200 building cranes downtown and Williamson county schools 15 miles from downtown.

Who pissed in your Wheaties? This is God's country.

Lived here 23 years now and plan to live here another 23.

Depending on your tastes, there are some great restaurants and bars to check out downtown. You did not mention which hotel so the rooftop at The Bobby, Noelle, and The Thompson are good launching points if you are staying at any of these hotels.

Catch a Preds game if you are in town. Great time.

Bearded Iris is a brewery that is a short distance from downtown. Only go if you like hazy IPAs. 80% of their tap list but it is a great stop.

My favorite dining spots in and around downtown are Rolf and Daughters, 404 Kitchen, Folk, Butcher and Bee, The Southern, and Urban Grub. Check their menus online to match with your tastes but you cannot go wrong with any of these.

Lower Broadway is the honkey tonk area. I have no f*&%ing clue what “The District” is. Many of the old honked tanks are being replaced by huge corporate places. If you want to check out the hockey tonk scene, I would do Robert’s Western World, Tootsies, and Rippy’s. This is where I take out of town guests. If you want the bigger corporate ones, which are very nice, Jason Aldean’s, Ole Red, and Acme Feed and Seed are fun.

If you can be more specific about what you like to do, I would be happy to respond.

Oh, wait, you're talking about Williamson county now? Nashville is in Davidson county and apparently you know better than to live in Nashville/ Davidson county. Get it right.

For the record, I'm one county from Davidson and, since you mentioned God's country, I bet a lot I have a better view than you do... and I ain't going anywhere either. God Bless Tennessee!

Well, depends on the ages. For them, Top Golf, Pinewood Social might be fun as it has a bowling alley and things adults and kids could do. I used to take my son and his friends to LaserQuest on 2nd. It's a blast and one of the best set ups I've ever seen.

Lots of Civil War history if you're into that. Ft. Negley is fascinating and near down town. Nice interpretive center. Try the Science Center too.

Speaking of Civil War history, go down to Franklin (about 20 minutes). Ft. Granger is interesting too. Tour the Carter House. Downtown Franklin is very quaint, with lots of restaurants and bars.

Nashville is known for it's roof top bars. If the weather's nice, try Acme. LA Jackson. LINK

Food wise, we love 5th and Taylor in Germantown. Or Henrietta Red (excellent!). Try the Southern off 3rd downtown. Butcher and Bee over in East Nashville, particularly for brunch. Biscuit Love in the Gulch for breakfast (very popular FYI). Bar Otaku in the Gulch if you want a trendy kind of "Asian Fusion" thing. Chauhan Ale & Masala House off of 12th if you like Indian food (she's a world class chef BTW, so it's excellent!)

Good luck.
