Is anyone else having trouble using the new google flights update? In the old version, it was relatively easy to use the map and zoom in on cities. At that point, the prices would appear next to the cities. Now it seems like they have a list on the left hand side for just the major US cities and when you zoom in on smaller cities, it doesn't update with the pricing. Apparently you have to click on the "Search this area" button at the bottom for the site to update with correct pricing

Also, I've been trying to filter airlines for a week to avoid Spirit, Allegiant, etc. but the button for that is just blank. May have to wait a week for a cheap airfare thread, in the meantime I did find some cheap flights for Baton Rouge to Destin for $226 in April, May, June and July BTR-VPS

The flight guru of the travel board is having trouble with it. We're doomed

it's just a new thing to get used to, kinda like when TD had the update switching all the boards from the left to the top.

Another issue I've noticed is once you pick a departing flight and are looking for a return, you can't see that first flight you picked. If you want to change it, you have to pick a random return flight then click remove flight and start all over again.

I figured I would give google a week to get the major kinks figured out, but they are not making this easy. I tried once on my phone and won't do it again until something is changed.

My problem is I can’t find out how to use flexible dates. I can see how to do it for a week but it makes me pick month.

I will look again. I like Kayak’s map... but I can’t limit it to SkyTeam so I can fly delta. I refuse to fly Spirit+Wow/Norwegian

I recently finished my PhD in a field of science, just do this type of stuff for a hobby. Always loved to travel, learned some tricks along the way that can help others. It's a little creepy when I track my parents or siblings flights on flightaware and text them as soon as they land . You ever get your vegas flights booked?

It is taking me time to get used to as well. I've been looking at flights for Frankfurt. The prices changed almost every click of the mouse

Was playing with it last night, didn't like how the flights were displayed in the left hand corner. Still prefer the old page that in my opinion makes it easier to navigate

Yesterday they had a terrible version up but I found a small icon in the bottom left of the page that switched it to the older version that was better.

This looks like it has been fixed, but they must have had a terrible version update because mine is loading very slow. I hate all of the websites like yahoo, nbc, cbs that added in videos/pictures to news stories over the past year that make the pages so slow to load.

This is an excellent find and something I'd suggest to everyone on here to use. The new version has too many problems and is slow to load, stick with the original and let google fix the kinks in the meantime
