We are here now and I will say that the American clientele is not completely unlike a Carnival cruise. But I have had fun laughing at my wife being offended by rude Europeans.
Edit: I’m probably being a little unfair with my Carnival clientele comment. The 3 ATL queens at the non-premium pool trying to “get the party started” all day and night is skewing my view.

I apologize if this is a “no crap” bit of advice, but be sure you are a little proficient in Spanish for basic requests. The majority of the staff speak nor understand any English.
