I was asked some questions, like where I worked and what exactly I did for a living. I have no idea if this was a part of the formal interview, ie, verifying the data I’d provided, or if it was just idle questioning. The photo taken then, printed on the useless plastic card, is possibly the worst pic I’ve ever seen. I look like a hobo just emerged from a nap under a bridge. Good thing no one ever needs to look at the card.

Thanks, was that on re-entry from a trip or did you go for an interview prior to your trip?

Have you noticed that regardless of what you post someone gives you a downvote?

Questions were super easy. I only was at the airport for 30 minutes total for the whole proces (most of it being early for waiting)

I assume they do it to pass the time.

I was at border control, somewhere, once and had to fill out a form for entry, it was some 40 questions long, and I remember stopping to ask a question.

The guard laughed, it doesn’t matter.

It was just theatre, something to keep me busy, while they ran my name through their computer.

She has a serial downvoter. It's pathetic but she has a good attitude about it.

Thanks, that’s the way it appeared to me as some downvotes are given on factual statements; e.g., “I had eggs for breakfast.”, would get a downvote.

Sorry about getting off topic.

I wouldn't worry about the schedule interview. If you have an off day just go to the airport and sign in. They will take you

I'm in NOLA but no car so limited options. I will try and go this week and report back.

I hope it works out for you!

Was following this thread for awhile. Applied 2/14 approved 5/08. No open interviews in NOLA until September.

The scheduling app on the website is terrible. I had to keep changing the date to get NOLA to show up, then once I did it showed a few available spots in June, but only 2.

They stopped scheduling in anticipation of the airport move but should have opened back up once that flopped.

Applied 4/22 and still pending... 54 days and counting.

Was supposed to leave the country yesterday, but got ill the day before. So maybe I will be approved by the time our trip is reschedule.
