the shuttle service must have changed since we went at the end of March.

It changed Friday, May 28th. We had 7 AM shuttle tickets for Memorial Day & were able to bypass the standby line because they were still prioritizing those that previously booked a shuttle reservation.

The regular standby line was a 2-4 hour wait to board the shuttle from the visitor's center that weekend.

That is crazy.

We didn't wait any time with our shuttle passes. The system actually was nice, except you had to go at your scheduled time and couldn't go with someone in your group if they had an earlier time.

Do you know if Canyon Overlook was still closed?

It was opened 2 weeks ago when we were there.

I’ve got several videos from the hike, but few pictures and even fewer worth sharing. I don’t remember it being particularly scenic until the overlook, but my memory ain’t what it used to be. Here are a couple though.

That's great. When we were there at the end of March apparently they had a massive boulder on the path and it was "closed indefinitely" on the literature at the welcome center. Just another reason to go back.

I've been trying to knock out some national parks right now since I have no kids, and Zion has been my favorite so far.
