Hopefully these short reviews are helpful for anyone looking for recs/reviews.
Florence
Picteau at Hotel Lungarno: 7/10. Good bar and small outside patio, food was good for a hotel bar/restaurant.
Buca Mario: 4/10. Honestly pretty overrated, got the beef filet which was perfectly cooked but was smothered in gravy that smelt like it was fresh out of the microwave. Also menu never said anything about the gravy.
Ristorante Osteria Natalino: 8/10. Really enjoyed this place, split a Florentine Steak with a friend and it was great.
Lake Como (Tremezzo Area)
Renzo at Lake Como Edition: 7/10. Food was good and views were great.
Ristorante Belle Ile: 8/10. Service was great and fast, food was very good as well.
L'Escale Trattoria & Wine Bar: 10/10. Service was excellent, food was fantastic, and views were incredible.
Venice
Ristorante Caffe Saraceno: 7/10. Food was good and a cool atmosphere on the canal.
Tried to keep the reviews extremely short lol, if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thank you. Heading to Como area in June.
Did you stay at The Edition? That's where we're staying for part of our stay.

The one I have been to on your list is Natalino in Florence. That was very good.
I am in the Philadelphia airport right now on my way back from Venice.

Yes we stayed at The Edition on points, loved it. Up there with Ritz Maldives and St. Regis Dubai on my favorite hotels. Hopefully the Cadenabbia dock construction will be done when you get there, that dock is right next to the hotel

This was the view from our table at dinner and breakfast (breakfast is served at Renzo in the morning)

Do you have any other recommendations for the area? Tours, coffee shops, things to do, or things that were a waste of time?
We're taking the train from Milan to Varenna and ferrying over. Is that the best way?

Assuming you are referring to Como. We took train from Florence-Milan-Como S. Giovanni. The Milan to Como leg was Eurocity 301 which is what I would recommend over the the trains with no assigned seating. Had Edition pick us up from train station, was expensive but worth it because wife is pregnant and the convenience was nice. If you are ferrying from Varenna to Tremezzo I would let the hotel know ahead of time so they can arrange a taxi as they aren't that common over there, or at least they weren't when we went.
We went to Bellagio for about half a day which was nice. We just walked around and window shopped. We walked to Tremezzo and to Grand Hotel Tremezzo which was a beautiful walk (about 20 min walk to Tremezzo center, 15 to hotel). Other than that we just relaxed at the Edition Pool which was great.

I think we have 2 tours set up. But this trip will be a relaxing trip instead of "we need to do and see everything in 7 days." We have 3 nights at The Edition and then another 3 nights at The View - in Lugano, then 2 nights in Grindelwald.

That sounds like a good plan, we did 3 nights in Como in between 4 nights in Florence and 3 in Venice. So it was a nice relaxing breather.
