That's the Forum Shops, and I think it's a pretty neat place.

It is, but by God, bring some breadcrumbs or something to help you get out.

We ate at Lago restaurant in Bellagio, had a window table to see the fountain show. Two to dine would range $120-$400 but well worth it.

Just finished eating at the buffet in the Mirage. They had roast ribeye that was the best type of roast beef ive ever had. Everything else on the buffet menu was ok, good for the price, which includes wine and draft beer all you can drink.

Went to freemont st area this morning, worth a visit. Has a lot of older stuff to see and good for a few hours or leisure time.

Get tix to Absinthe at Ceasar's. It's a mix of burlesque, vaudeville, and Cirque. The humor is raunchy, and it's hilarious. But hey, you're going to Sin City...

Absolutely agree. I have been to many shows in Vegas (including all of the CDS shows) and it's my favorite. It's certainly not for everyone, but if you don't mind raunchy humor it's quite good.

I saw this show last weekend. While I thought the acrobatics were great, I thought the humor was God awful. It wasn't clever and reminded me of a bunch of 7th graders just spitting out dirty words because they can. I just assumed everyone was laughing around me because they were wasted and thought it was what they were supposed to do.

Now I'm just confused see it or don't see it.
I guess my question about absinthe should be is it worth the money? Scratch shows and spend money elsewhere? It's not the money, I just don't want to get screwed.

Thanks again

There’s not anything on the planet that everyone likes, so if you look around you are going to find critics.

I just got back from Vegas, I will have my review up later today or tomorrow.

We stayed at the Bellagio, and it is a little dated, but overall a solid hotel. It was close to a lot of the things that we wanted to do and see. We at a Fix, and I would recommend it if you stay there.

I kind of figured I would get mixed reviews and do appreciate everyone's opinion.

We will definitely see Absinthe mainly because the misses wants to. I really enjoy that kind of stuff as well so we're excited.

for many years Bellagio was considered the best resort in Vegas. Even with Venetian and Wynn opening shortly after.

Once cosmo and aria opened, and the nightclub/dayclub craze took off, those hotels left Bellagio in the dust.

the Bellagio rooms and grounds are fine, but a bit dated, and not as beautiful as aria, cosmo, encore. Bellagio doesn't have any pool parties, and their club isn't anything special, so the crowd is older, and the vibe isn't as "hip" as other resorts. this could be a good or bad thing.

I completely understand that I am in the minority. I love improv, stand-up and all sorts of comedy but I honestly do not remember laughing once. But if that's what his wife wants to see, I guess that's final.

No disrespect intended. Came off a little sharper than I meant it. I always tell people the humor isn't for everyone. I think it's the freshest thing I've seen in Vegas for awhile.

Wear clinical strength deodorant and comfortable shoes and light colored clothing. August in Vegas is BRUTAL to put it lightly. Spend most of your outdoor time at night. Freemont Street is good especially at night and on Friday or Saturday night. Plenty of casinos there as well. Take advantage of the double decker bus system. Buy the all day passes. I've stayed at The Bellagio twice, Cosmopolitan twice and the Aria once. Aria was the nicest but Cosmo had the best eye candy. Weekends are great to see all the bachelorette parties that come in from Cali.
