Trying to decide which website to use to plan a vacation to London and Paris.

Should I use Expedia or similar to just book flights and hotels and then schedule all of the tours and travel?

Or should I use a recommended travel company to book everything all at once?

Book the flights directly with the airline. If something were to happen with your itinerary, the airline will basically wash their hands of it and let you deal with Expedia/Orbitz etc.

I usually do my research on Trip Advisor and Expedia. Then I call the hotel directly to see if I can get a better deal.
Same with the airline, except that often I find that the flights that best suit me involve multiple airlines, in which case I go with Expedia.

I have used Expedia several times and have never had a problem.

You can also use TripMasters for some research.

If you’re a Costco member they have travel packages on their travel page. Destinations all over the world. Worth a look.
