In trying to help BigB find flights to Munich, I discovered there's decently priced tickets for March, April, May, early June, mid August through December to several european locations. I'll post them below, any questions please ask. For you dublin travelers in June, the deal only goes to June 13 : (. These deals are good from airports all over the US, including Nola, Baton Rouge, Boston, NYC, etc...

Nola to:

Frankfurt: $583 on Delta. Begins March 2nd, goes through all of March and April, jumps up to $731 for early June, then drops back to $583 from mid August all through the fall to Christmas

Berlin: $559 on Delta. March, April, then mid August through December Google flights example

Brussels: $514 on Delta. Same as above LINK

Munich: $568 on Delta. LINK

Zurich: $582 on Delta. LINK

Geneva: $573 on Delta. LINK

Stuttgart, Germany: $556 LINK

Luxembourg: $549 LINK

Graz: $608 LINK

Hm...does this sale extend to other US airports?

Considering a trip to Munich this summer with my dad but we would be leaving from BOS, not MSY.

Wow $10 more to fly from BOS than from MSY, but a much shorter flight. I swear I'll never understand how airlines determine pricing.

Still a really good price though. Thanks again Cuse!

The delta flight from NO is out of ATL, not sure of the Boston flight. So any connecting flight on Delta to ATL will be similarly priced. I got $549 out of VPS which is Destin/ Fort Walton Beach. Hell of a deal.

I see upon further inspection that it goes through Detroit. I honestly assumed it would be a direct through BOS or a connection in Heathrow.

But that would be too convenient . There's always a catch with these deals

The only benefit to booking a short connection through detroit is that more than likely by august (if you did decide to book) Delta will have a schedule change. If the connection becomes too tight they can rebook you to anything you want free of charge.

This is a great deal, especially from the smaller cities like Baton Rouge. Cannot believe they have BTR-ATL-CDG-LUX for $549 roundtrip...

Did this same route (replacing BRT with MSY) a couple years ago. Luxembourg is very cool and it's a nice and very easy drive through Northern France to Switzerland from there. Would love to do it again. About a 4.5hr drive to Lucerne and you can stop off in Strasbourg on the way.

I keep holding out hope to see a big drop but I am doubting it will happen.

There may be one sale for peak summer, just cross your fingers and set a google flights alert. Are either you or tigershark tracking your dates currently? Very easy to set up

Cuse, are you seeing any really good deals from either Houston or MSY to Seattle/Vancouver for mid to late March?

Nah, I'm not tracking anything because I'm just looking at a lot of locations. If something drops into that 400 range I'm gonna book and go.

Decent/average pricing so far. It's under $300 which is good.

$282 out of MSY

$259 out of Houston nonstop

$320 Baton Rouge to Seattle
