I figured this would be the best place to post this.

Long story short. My job is flying out a business partner, and I was told to book him the best hotel BR has to offer. Price doesn’t matter.

They asked me to book the room b/c I’m the only person from the area that’s somewhat familiar with downtown.

So what y’all got? The Hilton, Watermark, etc ?

Watermark would be my choice, but I’m basing it off of the bar area! I don’t know what the “vibe” is downtown at night theses days. Away from downtown, The Renaissance would be my next choice.

If he's a MArriott guy, Watermark. If he's a Hilton guy, Hilton.

If he's a Hyatt guy, I think there is a Hyatt Place by the Mall of Louisiana

Same first two then end thread. No Hyatt Worth it’s salt unless he is desperate for points. If he isn’t brand loyal do lauberge and hit that up.

I know it’s BR, but how is walking around downtown at night? Have a conference coming up and would like to bar hop a bit.

There's a few bars.
Most criminals don't mess with 3rd st, too many cops around.

Downtown has gotten better for nightlife. I have to give Cowboy Kip that.

The way things are now, we enjoy ourselves more downtown BR than NOLA now.

If you have to be downtown, I’d say Watermark. If not, I’d suggest Lod Cook or Renaissance.

It has fallen off considerably since Kip reinvigorated it.
