Was wondering if anybody has enjoyed the slopes of Breckenridge and the city of Denver all in 1 winter trip? I know that they are 1.5-2hr drive from each other, probably longer in winter conditions.

Has anyone found a good spot in the middle of the 2 cities or is it only realistic to do 2 separate trips? Thanks for any tips

I do it every year. I arrive in Denver and stay there that night and next day. Head to Summit county resorts and ski like crazy. Then head home. Easy peasy.

I'm pretty sure there's a daily shuttle between Denver and Breckenridge that's easy and comfortable.

Check it out

You're likely flying into Denver so book the first night (or last night) there and hop over to breck. Shouldn't be a problem. I would recommend Denver first because you'll likely be exhausted if you're skiing/boarding.

April...... ski during the day and hit a Rockies game that same night. We do it all the time. Solid day in the books.

Looking to do a Breckenride trip in the spring. Anyone have recommendations of places they suggest to stay?

Sure, easy to do. I'd avoid driving to Breckenridge early on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Or returning about the time people start leaving the slopes. I-70 can be a mess at peak driving times for weekend skiers. And check the weather. In a snow storm chains can be required by law and you don't want to drive in that anyway.
