Leaving on the 18th coming back the 22nd. Im open to any suggestions. Have kids, 8,4,and 2 year old. Will fly or drive. Want to show them snow and bring them to a town that is all about Christmas. No New York or East coast. Looking for Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, maybe the Tennessee area. Suggest some cities. TIA

Won’t find December snow in Tennessee probably.

Because of the ages of your kids, I would suggest something a bit easier a big resort in a super popular place. Find something with a direct flight and short drive with a good small town christmas vibe and maybe some easy ski runs for your 8 yr old and/or some tubing (all your kids can have a great time with a few hours of tubing).

Two options with a great Christmas vibe:
Taos, NM
Boone, NC

If “Christmasy” in the US is your #1 priority, Vail or Aspen…. Those towns go bananas for Christmas and absolutely nail it when it comes to the “winter wonderland” thing

We enjoyed Breckenridge.

Outside of the US would highly recommend Whistler in BC.

Good call on Whistler. Haven’t been in December, but would imagine they do up Christmas quite well.

I'd imagine Jackson is a pretty cool Christmas city especially the downtown area
