The kids would love it. They’ll be hopping from rock to rock, splashing through water, etc. The 2 year old would need to be carried in a backpack carrier.

Just take them to blue bayou water park. It will be like hiking through a jungle. Y'all can turn on Lafitte's Plunge and tell them it's a waterfall.

To clear up a few things

Clark Creek is in Mississippi and is a state park (no hunting)
Tunica Hills WMA is in Louisiana and can be hunted

People confuse the two all the time

There's Wetland Watcher's Park very close to you. Go to the spillway off Airline highway, and follow it out to the lake. Bring bait and catch crabs on the lakefront. There are several trails with boardwalks there also.

Tickfaw State Park has a bunch of trails - some are boardwalks above the swamp.

Lake Fausse Point State Park has some great trails.

Northlake Nature Center is right across the big pond in Mandeville.

There are 2 ways to do clark with the majority of the falls

1 - Just walk the improved path. a handicap person can do it.

2 - walk the river (usually dry) its fun for the kids. 2 year old will need some help for a lot of it.

It was a lot harder than expected. It’s been a while but it seemed like going was a breeze, the round trip was rough. I probably wouldn’t do it with the young ones until I did it solo first.

DO NOT get off the path. The Fire Department has had to rescue over 100 people from that area over the last 10 years. With some rescues taking 8 hours. There are snakes there and they will bite you. There are dangers all around. Do not bring the kids. It's a beautiful trail and you'll thoroughly enjoy it but don't get off the path.

Definitely some of those but mostly older people who overestimate their ability to complete it.

All I said was to stay on the path. That's why the path exists. He wanted advice and that's my advice to him. And not to bring his kids.

From Baton Rouge - Drive to St. Francisville and take the road to Angola Prison. When the road splits, go right. Left will take you to Angola.
Cross the Mississippi state line and drive another 20-30 minutes to Clark Creek.

Address
366 Fort Adams Pond Road
Woodville, MS
39669
Entrance Fee - $2.00 per person, 5 years of age and under - free

Make sure you pay the fee, or you'll get towed.

This is the trail back to the top that kills everyone. It's doesn't look like much going in, but it's hell going out.
