Add Cloudland Canyon SP to your itinerary if the weather is good. Might be the best SP in Georgia.

Supposed to fly out with Baby and Mrs. BTB to South Florida but Mrs. has the flu and may change her travel plans from tomorrow to Christmas Eve. I may have to check 3 luggage bags and my child by myself and I'm not looking forward to it. Thankfully this would all be direct for me.

Yuck, sounds messy for everyone. Is the kid under their own ticket or a lap child? You may want to call and split the ticket for Mrs sooner rather than later. What's the route? I can look up inventory for 12/24

We're all with SWA since she paid with her points. She's able to reroute to MIA if she needs to even if she already checked in. She's taking Xofluza tonight and hopefully feeling better tomorrow.

Original plan for us is FLL but she can do MIA no problem. Just makes it a bit more annoying for her trip.

On the plane in Shreveport right now and headed to Big Sky via DFW and Bozeman. Got 8 of us on the trip…staying thru Saturday.

VRBO’d a nice house and should get a couple days of skiing in.

GFs mom lives in Temecula so we did a few days in San Diego and now hanging out in Temecula. Great weather and we love Old Town and all the wineries.

We're heading to MSY now. Might make luggage guarantee cutoff by the skin of our teeth. Mrs. BTB feeling better but not 100%. Baby BTB has not decided to nap. Hopefully can fall asleep on the plane.

This is why I only fly to warm destinations outside of hurricane season.

It’s funny, in the pre check line in terminal D at IAH, there is *always* someone who is clearly folding their stroller for the first time. It’s sad that I can usually fold it faster for the unaccompanied parent than they can.

In each airport, there are usually one or two concourses that serve the mainline airline that are busy as hell. But, you can usually go to one of the less used terminals, clear security, and then walk or tram to your gate. I always go to terminal D in IAH, rather than C/E.

Three bags is going to suck if you’re not using a baby bjorn to at least get them checked. Start waving green around at the skycap so he knows you need help on the hurry.

Where the hell you going, Mordor?

Y'all got to stop over packing. I have two little kids and my wife and I will check one big suitcase for all of us. You can definitely kill one of those bags to make it easier for you.

When they get older and I don't need the free hands to manage them I'll go back to not checking.

Just realized you flew out today. Godspeed I hope everything went well.

Solid flight. FLL was very lax for a holiday week.

We packed 3 because 1 woman bag,1 my bag + baby clothes/toys, 1 for Christmas gifts to and from.

Thunderstorms just starting to build up to the NW of DFW. Looks like 10am-6pm going to be the peak time for storms, hope you get in and out of there quickly today

AA is having some issues this morning at DFW. Nothing has left so far (granted it's only 6:30am) but there are a bunch of flights that have left the gate at 5am and are sitting/waiting for departure. Not quite sure what's going on. It's not a DFW weather problem yet from the weather as Delta and Spirit are both getting flights out

Charlotte
Miami
Philly
Chicago
DC

S, is there another AA hub you can go through today in case these delays end up cascading throughout the day? It's only going to get worse with the thunderstorms starting in a bit

Had booked a trip to Vegas Sunday until this morning... thought better of it and cancelled.

With the weather coming through Texas today, I have a feeling I would have gotten screwed.

As long as you weren't on AA you would've been fine today . It's going to be a mess for the rest of the day at all American hubs, poor people will be stuck in DFW on Christmas Eve.

And also you should've realized you have the travel board to help you navigate through a shitshow like this . If there's one thing i know how to do, it's beating the system on days like today. I might've had you connect in Albuquerque and San Antonio, but I would've gotten you back

You say that now, lets see how the day plays out.

Nope, I don't do connections. F that BS.

I was just trying to burn RR points which is why I was going, but I'll plan something in January or February. Its a good problem to have.
