Possibly looking for a quick weekend get away to a campground or state park with cabins (don’t own a camper) with different activities for boys ages 13 and 15.

Where/what are some places you’d recommend? Thanks

Fontainebleau State Park? I haven't stayed in them, but the cabins looked pretty nice last time I was there (in October), there are trails through the woods, a neat little museum, easy access to the Tammany Trace, and you're right on the lake.

Also check out Bogue Chitto State Park. My parents live on the Northshore and I've always wanted to check that place out, looks pretty cool.

Getting a cabin is a hard ticket. They fill up months in advance unfortunately.
Texas and Arkansas are hard to get also.

I don’t do any mountain biking but it has legitimate trails, disc golf, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, tubing and hiking trails. It’s a lot nicer than I ever thought it would be when it was still in the planning process.

I’ve never stayed but heard the State Park just north of Natchez has cabins on a lake with fishing.

Indian Creek in Woodward has good swimming and is a nice campground but doesn’t have cabins. Well worth an RV rental though. They rent canoes and kayaks but not motorboats. Water is clean and cool. 1.25 hr from Lafayette. No drunks or trash.
