First the place is definitely high up and gives you a great view for miles as long as you don't mind heights
You can literally just jump off. There is a small metal spiral stairway separating the 2 levels of the bar.
2nd Level
The bar itself has a glass wall that can retract so its open to the the pool area
As is the case at most downtown bars, drinks range from $8-$15 and I had an $11 espresso martini and the wife had a $7 glass of wine.
We weren't planning to eat a large meal so we ordered the lobster rolls which were like $13 or so.
All in all not a bad way to spend $40-$50. We went on a Saturday night and it was definitely packed but we were able to go right up and find a bar height table to sit fairly quickly. The nice thing is you can get a drink and just wander around and enjoy the views and never worry about sitting if you're not ordering an appetizer. The crowd was definitely hipster-ish/urbanite with a batch of tourists thrown in for good measure who stood out like a sore thumb.
You're also in spitting distance of about 500 great restaurants that are a $10 uber away.
Highly recommended as a great way to start out a fun evening on the town.

Looks great, did you take the pics or download them from the web? You said it was packed, but looks empty?

i took top 2 photos, bottom 2 were downloaded from the web. it was chilly so everyone was crowded in the bar and i didn't think to take a pic at the time.

That's a sweet outdoor spot. I wish the Peaks Lounge at the top of the Hyatt here in downtown Denver had something like that outside. It's also on 27th floor, better views, and just as nice..... except all behind glass

Just dropping by to say downtown Nashville is getting trashier and smellier with each visit.

Right because cleaning up all the urban blight and replacing with shiny condos and restaurants makes it smell worse.

Sweet. More and more like Dallas each day.
East Nashville and Berry Hill are the only remotely interesting parts of the city.
Nashville sucks.

well thats like your opinion man.
why do you hate more residential development downtown? everybody wins..blight is removed, everyone is safer and it becomes an even bigger economic power.
east nashville has more condos now than downtown so funny you call that interesting.

Looks like a cool spot. I need to check it out. Have you been to LA Jackson (top of the Thompson Hotel) yet?
Do they? I know they few they built along Main Street, but I don't think they really extend past the shitty Kroger on Gallatin.
Downtown has a lot that most people are unaware of - The Stahlman and Cumberland on Church for example.

You can laugh all you want, Nashville is not the same cool city it was 10 and even 20 years ago. It's a hipster and country wannabe mecca now

Yeah, my friends from here concede that Nashville has lost most of its identity. They originally described the city as more of a blue-collar, not a "deep South" type of town. Now, it's full of transplants (myself included).
Not necessarily a bad thing. Given a city its size, I really don't think Nashville had a whole lot going on 10-15 years ago.

No thanks.
There isn't shite over there except for East Nashville Beer Works. That's is the sole reason I'll venture past Ellington.
