BTR announces nonstop flights to Austin and Orlando

According to a release, the nonstop flights will operate three times a week to and from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and two times each week to and from Orlando Sanford International. Passengers will be flying on 50 seat Embraer ERJ-145 jets.

Good news. They just started Jackson-Orlando Sanford. I'd like to see this airline start service out of Hobby. They could do JAN-HOU, BTR-HOU and do well with 50 seat jets and their fare structure.

Nothing much to know. They started in 1997 and currently fly 6 ERJ-145's, which are excellent planes.

Via does a lot of charter flying and have branched out into their own branded flying.
We used to deal with them a good bit in Chicago. They operated from Midway to Branson as "Branson Air Express". They paid their bills and were fine to work with. Their loads were really light though. They flew it on a community subsidy from Branson until it went to someone else.

Wasn’t Branson express flying to Cancun out of MSY a few years ago?
