So happy to hear y’all had a good time! The weather was pretty nice while you were here.

Barely broke a sweat! Many of our pictures look photoshopped because the skies were so blue and the clouds were so fluffy!

Listen, I don’t mean to brag, but I put in a few calls to make sure you had that sky and those clouds. You’re welcome.

To piggyback, what would be the best Marriot hotel to book in Boston? Not looking for 5*, just a nice place to sleep that is centrally located.

Have a "friends & family" discount due to a friend working for Marriot is the reason for the specific Marriot request.

Marriott Long Wharf is always a good option. Good location and overall a nice spot. It’s obviously not the Ritz (or the St. Regis that is still under construction) but it’s a solid choice.

I agree it’s an amazing location- great views of the harbor. It was just a bit out of my price range.

Honestly if it’s the summer/early fall, everything is insanely priced.

The T is great. We also took it to Revere beach

How did you like Revere Beach? Did you do anything besides just hang on the beach?

We thought about making a run up there as well for sunset drinks at Cut 21 and then heading to Dryft for dinner but wasn't sure if it was worth all the effort.

We're staying Downtown for this trip so it's not that far of a walk to the State Street station.

Looking at closures to the Orange and Green lines for our trip next week. What's going to be the easiest way to get to North End from Downtown? I'm thinking for anything less than a mile it's got to be faster to just walk from our apt than walk to a station and try to use shuttles.

To the best of my knowledge the orange line won’t be shut down between the stops you’ll need. But honestly, it’s a short walk so if the weather is nice you’re better off doing that.

I walked from my hotel, the Hyatt, which was close to Chinatown, to Mikes pastry in the North End. It was maybe a 20 walk. No need for the T.

Apparently closing till September 17 from from the Oak Grove to Forest Hills station.

We enjoy walking Boston so that will probably be our default but was thinking of a backup plan in case of bad weather or if we drank too much at Nightshift at Lovejoy Wharf.

The Harpoon brewery tour is great. Open bar for 30 minutes at end. Much better than Sam Adams tour. I like walking around the North End and having dinner. Can’t go wrong with any Italian restaurant there.

Got a email from SWA today, $98 for one way flights from Austin to BOS from Oct through week before Thanksgiving. We may have to make a return trip pretty soon for that price. Pizza at Regina's is worth that.
