Boston Half Day

I will be coming in from a hunting trip later this month from Boston Logan. I will be dropping a buddy at airport and turning in a rental around 10 am and I wont fly out until 5:45. It looks like I can take Rowes water taxi across harbor and they will store my carry on and take me back to airport. Any advice on things to do to make the most of that time and not just sit in airport? Thanks

Not much time to see anything but you could take the silver line to south station and take the red line to Park St. and check out the Common and Public Garden. Grab some lobster rolls at James Hook, then catch an Uber back to Logan

I like the James Hook idea. Big guy behind the register is a character. Then hit Mike’s or Modern for a cannoli.

I’d head to the heart of downtown and hit the historic highlights. Paul Revere house, Boston Commons, couple of historic cemeteries next to the commons and could of famous churches right there also.

Are the Sox at home?
If you get there a little earlier you can head to the harbor and take a whale watching tour.
Walk some of the Freedom Trail.
Take the T up to Cambridge and check out the Hahvahd Yahd.
Boston Museum of Science is cool.

Love the MFA, but if you only have a half day to experience the city there’s much better options.
