BOGO flights on Alaska Airline purchase 8/9 only. Travel through 10/31

Friends,
Wanted to pass this deal on to you. If you book today, August, 9, you get one free seat in the same aisle as your other seat. Code is GETTHEROW. It's quite nice that you and your travel companion, assumed to be your lawful spouse or family member if of the other sex, get the entire row to yourselves.
Travel must be completed by October 31, 2020. Some spectacular deals if you are flying MSY to Seattle. Round trip direct to Seattle for two for many dates is just $260 total. Normally a single direct at this time of year runs from $400-500 from MSY. Take your pick for other options through Seattle. I found a 1-stop through Seattle to Hawaii from MSY for $400/person.
Let me know if any of you use it, and if so, I hope you will give us a report on your trip.

Why does the person have to be of the other sex? Can friends not take a trip? Are gay couples excluded?
