loaded up and leaving at 4 am
We are staying at a beautiful 1,000 acre ranch we rented in Idaho. It’s 1 l.5 hours to the Tetons entrance and about 1.75 hours to the west entrance of Yellowstone.
Guess I will just need to put on my big boy pants and get ready for some traffic on the YS day
Here is the ranch we are staying at. Personally I would be fine not leaving

The only easy hike at Yellowstone was the trail around Old Faithful. It was flat, well marked and maintained. Everything else is a challenge.
Grand Prismatic Spring is an easy hike and can be down in the same day as Old Faithful.
Portions of Yellowstone Canyon are easy to moderate hike.

If you're staying on the west side of the Tetons I think you should consider some trails on that side of the range to avoid some of the traffic. Cave Falls Trail would be an easy one for all ages.

I’m assuming we def need to pack all meals and such for the day correct?

Not necessarily. It's a short hike, depending on where you're staying you could be back at your cabin by lunch.

Place looks dope. We are staying at much less expensive place in Driggs ID, but the property has some great views.
