Going to a concert next weekend in Denver. Going to have to Uber to any hiking. What are the best 3-4 mile hikes within 30 minutes of Downtown?

There is a hike near Red Rocks - Red Rocks and Morrison Slide trail. Had to cut it short because of a storm, but it seemed to be pretty nice.

click on the interactive map and find something that looks good to you.
JeffCO open space
depending on time of day/weather some of those could suck. If it's hot/sunny I'd avoid the exposed ones close to town like table mesa or White Ranch and go for something up a canyon in the trees like lair-o-the-bear.

I'll assume you are in halfway decent shape and recommend the Flat Irons in Boulder at Chautauqua Park. Since you will have to Uber you can walk into town when yo are done and call for one while getting a snack somewhere. Not much cell service in some of the canyons so be aware of that if you choose somewhere else. Will be hot af here during the day.

Download the Denver Day Hikes app. Tons of options all around. Maxwell Falls was a good one I remember.

Get as far outside of Denver as you can manage... Many of the open spaces in and near the city are overrun with sketch.

Evergreen Mountain Trail and Elk Meadow are both good.

St. Mary's Glacier is a little farther away, like maybe an hour or a little less. It's a fun hike. Bring a few big trash bags and climb up to the top of the Glacier and slide down on your trash bag sled. There's a pretty lake there as well. Go to your right at the lake. It's a nicer trail. It's not well marked and we went to the left one of the times I've been there. That way is really hard!
edited because I missed the Uber part. Not a great Uber choice. Not really service out there and it's a tiny little road.
I don't think there is a good hike that you can really Uber to. You need to rent a car that day. I agree that the Boulder area is really nice. Spend a day there, do some hiking in the Flatirons like Chataugqua up to Royal Arch (fairly short, but some of it is steep) and go to a brewery or 2. There are lots of them in the area.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I guess we'll stick around Boulder with cell service being sketchy. Appreciate it.

If you're in Boulder (I thought you were in Denver), you can easily do hiking in the Flatirons. The trails leave from Chatauqua Park and it's pretty much right in town.

I will be in Denver, I was responding to the Flat Irons suggestion on walking into Boulder after for better service. I see a later post suggested a few good ones around Denver that are able to Uber to.

You may want to research this and make sure this is what you want. It is steep af and has some class 3 stuff up top. You will need to be in pretty damn good shape for this to be enjoyable. Also need to be comfortable rock scrambling.

There is zero shade out here, none. Plus it is full of rattlesnakes. Again, do a little research and make sure this is what you want before picking here just because it is close.
The foothills here have a lot of rattlesnakes. Just pay attention, do not wear headphones and do not get off the trails.
