Bachelor Party in Minnesota

Plainng on going in mid August. I found this thread from a couple years ago, but it's focused primarily on things to eat and drink around Target Field. We plan on doing that also (Tigers are in town), but we also were thinking about staying out on a lake, renting a boat, and getting after it.
Has anyone spent a time on a lake up there?
Are there boat up bars?
Can we rent a boat with an out of state license pretty easily?
I assume that some lakes are more party focused than others. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Big Island on Lake Minnetonka is what you're looking for.

If you’re gonna rent a boat on Lake Minnetonka, do it now. They get snatched up quick. Big party lake. Lots of boat up bars. The most popular is probably Maynard’s. I’m sure an out of state license will suffice.

Buddy Boy Fine BBQ out by the lake.
Much better than it has any business being given that it’s in a suburb in Minnesota.

There are 10,000 lakes, right? You'll be fine.

Start a few fires. Pray at the statue of the angel, George Floyd. Smell a Somali up close and personal. It'll be a great time.
