Austin blows any Louisiana city out of the water. It's really not even a competition.

Anybody who disagrees must love shitty infrastructure, a shitty economy, garbage on the side of the road, demographics where a select half of the population chooses not to be employed, waterways where your dog will get eaten by a dinosaur, and a coastline which is likely to wash up a dead body or oil covered seagull. Also, try to find a dog park in the state of Louisiana. It's more scarce than a college degree.

I get that Austin may be more left than most people swing, but to say ANY Louisiana city is even close is just asinine.

You must really like hipsters and taco trucks. Baton Rouge has literally everything Austin has plus a relevant football team

Baton Rouge is Cleveland of the south. The best thing to happen to BR in 4 years is firing a college football coach. The second to best thing? Opening a deli.

You can keep it. 6th street is overrated. UT at Austin is a nice campus. Besides that, ehh.

As a whole, Austin is pretty legit. As a "party city", it's overhyped.
