I'm headed to the ATL for a work trip. I'm only there for a couple of days. I'm looking for a couple of must try restaurants and experiences. Any suggestions?

1. Gunshow
2. Forza Storico
3. Hal's Steakhouse
4. Antico Pizza
5. Cooks & Soldiers
6. The Optimist
7. Fox Bros BBQ (The original on Decatur St.)
8. BoccaLupo

There are others, but those are musts. Atlanta is a great food town.

The Vortex.

Fox Bros is on Dekalb Ave. It does turn into the Decatur St and then Marietta St(welcome to Atlanta roads), but the Fox Bros address is Dekalb Ave.

For the OP....there are so many really good places to eat here now. Any particular type of food you like best or any type you want to eat? What part of town are you staying in?

Have been underwhelmed by Atlanta Restaurants over the years - for it's size (B'ham has more top offerings than Atlanta IMO). But, have not traveled ATL as much in recent years. One place that was recommended a couple of years back that did live up to expectations was Miller Union, not too far from GA Tech.

Some great options thrown out there from previous posts, but without knowing the OP's tastes, I'd add...

Lyla Lila in Midtown - LINK
Delbar in Inman Park - LINK
Kimball House in Decatur - LINK
Deer and the Dove in Decatur(just won Beard award for best chef in the Southeast 2023) - LINK
Marcel in West Midtown - LINK
Aziza in West Midtown - LINK

You can always venture up Buford Highway for an almost endless array of legitimate Asian and Latin American cuisine. I ate at Kamayan - LINK - recently and it was amazing.

Eater always has good recs - LINK

Lots and lots of options. Too many to list.
